    No but on School trips he took a packed lunch and not a packed dinner.

    I could never live up north. I'd get proper confused about the lunch/dinner thing.

    Lunch is at lunchtime.

    Dinner is an evening affair, to which one is invited.

    There is no such thing as dinnertime.

    Tea is had at 4.30 to 5. High te an hour and a half later, and Dinner in the Eveneing circa 7.30.
