always liked the toon army, especially when he was there, chuffed when KK got back in, about time we had an english character back in footy, just a shame it came at the expence of another, hope he does well and maybe other clubs will go english, i would love it!!
Personally I can't stand Keegan or Newcastle. They're a match made in heaven, Just needs relegation now to complete the set.

I coudn't agree more.
He was over rated as a player despite his two European Player of the Year awards and is vastly over rated as a Manager/Coach.
I wonder how long it will be before he walks out on them?

Your opinions on football are possibly the reason why football is dying in this country. Are all our coaches this clueless?
What were his weaknesses as a player then ? Apart from the perm and how could he have been better ?
Why the FA haven't given you a ring to replace Sven I don't know.

"He was over rated as a player despite his two European Player of the Year awards" Surely if he was "over rated" then the 2 awards would actually be evidence of him being over rated rather than "despite of" However I don't think he was over rated - however it's interesting that he gained those 2 awards whilst playing for Hamburg.
RE: What were his weaknesses as a player then ? It was the way he didn't want to ruin his perm against Spain in the 1982 World Cup!
