depends what you are judging it on? Current form? Ability? Goals conceded per match? For me Steele can't be dropped until he has done something wrong. Its one of the few places on the pitch where there is competition for places
No contest Muller breeds more confidence into the defence. He comes for corners and set pieces in general and speedily sets the forward play with a quick ball out. Steele dilly dallys on his distribution.
Right, it dont matter if we had Petr Cech in goal with that **** excuse of a defence we would be no better off.
Steele has done nothing wrong but I want to see Muller back as number 1. He will get the crowd going and create a buzz in the stands, just by being on the field. Hopefully this energy and buzz would rub off onto the others.
We must get Muller back for Southampton. Why Steele hoofs it up field to our midget midfield and forward line I just dont know. We cant have won the ball more than 3 or 4 times from his kicks last night. Muller throws the ball usually to JCR or Howard which gives us impotous and advantage needed because of our lack of height in the team.
How can you keep Muller out ? I know Steele has played well but Muller creates goals by releasing the ball his distribution is the best in the league !
Steele is a good GK and has done nothing wrong, except his kicking. It's terrible at times. Really needs to work on it. Muller to come back in for me. If only to see if he can bring a positive effect on the back 4.
