People boo and moan about it, but imagine if we crossed the ball with a minute of stoppage time left one week, and heaven forbid the opposition equalised.

Cue 'why the hell didn't they keep it in the corner?' from everyone :D

It's not so much negative, it's just common sense, and EVERY team does it at times, yes even Man Utd and Arsenal in big games that are close.

I think the issue was ,

that we didnt keep it in the corner , we took the corner and gave away afree-kick almost straight away. We must have used up about 5 seconds.

It was a piss poor effort to run the clock down hence the unhappiness from the fans.

I'm sure there was booing whilst they were doing it, and then jeering when we lost the ball...

But either way folk on here have been moaning about it being 'negative against 10 men'.

Was 3 minutes of normal time left + stoppage time. Think that was a reason

Not only did he concede a freekick, he had let the ball go out anyway!

I can understand why they did it, but it was a piss poor effort and gave them the chance to do exactly what we were trying to prevent, they got the ball launched up field and put us under pressure.

I dont think that is only the reason for the negative remarks about Monday, maybe the way we played for most of the match had something to do with it.

    lets get it straight....

    1. it was freezing
    2. it wasa crap game, but I don't think most cottoned on to the fact it was the second game in just over 48hrs and they were knackered
    3. we all mistakenlythought at the final whistle the ref had blown for a foul, so booed the decision. It only lasted a second or two before most realised and then it turned to clapping.
    4. that bloody drum was really pissingus of

Theres too much being read into it allby boththe fans and the players. Itsjust one of those where wetake the 3 points and quicklyforget.

it was a poor effort but that didn't warrant the boos

The fans have been worse than the players recently. We should be booed and not them

Yes I agree, start by making the players pay £20 quid to see us!

    FFS.
we pay our money and are entitled to give vent to our feelings at any time. The players should realize that if it was not for the fans they would not have a job!
