.............saying some of the things that he spouts after each match

i.e. we are over acheiving.......we are punching above our weight ..........
His latest one is that - Andrews who plays for Ipswich is worth more than all of the Barnsley squad put together

Let me explaing something to Mr Hill..........saying things like this dosent reflect kindly on Barnsley Football Club
All that it does is make you look foolish for trying to make out you are doing a great job under the circumstances.

We all know Hill is doing a great job but he dosent need to keep rubbishing the club to make a point out of it.

 

Yes.

It's pretty obvious to me that Jacob Butterfield should be the player manager.

And the tea lady.
And the Chairman.
And the Marketing Manager.

Oh - and he should also buy 5,000 season tickets.

Is it really rubbishing the club? Surely it's saying how well the club are doing. I'm lucky enough that for the vast majority of my life Barnsley have been in the top two divisions. Given the size of the town and consequent size of the club I'd say that's brilliant and I'm very proud of that fact. I'd rather be the fan of a club that over-achieves than under-achieves.

And if there are fans that think we aren't over-achieving then Hill porbably needs to carry on giving them a weekly reality check.

 

In my opinion his comments are rubbishing and undermining the club..........

...............if the general view is that we are NOT where we ought to be........then let them put us at a level that they think we should be
And when they are doing this I hope that they remember that BARNSLEY HAS BEEN IN THE SECOND TIER OF ENGLISH FOOTBALL FOR LONGER THAN MOST (any?) OTHER ENGLISH CLUB

Or the benefit of the team so that everytime they win a couple of games everyone starts getting over-excited and then get on their backs the second we lose a game. Expectation management.

Hill is doing great, he says things to detract attention away from the team to him, so he can work with the team without distraction imo and it works. Not sure why you are kicking off though when everything he said is true. Ipswich on paper have an outstanding side, Bullard on the bench is probably earning more a week than half of Barnsley's team put together.

It's the way Hill goes about his business, the way he sees his management philosophy working and so far it is so why dont we just get behind him and stop criticising things he says after every interview.

 

Hill is saying all this rubbish to benefit one person............HILL

..........ie.......... look at me I'm doing great and I'm working with a full team of over achivers thats got a combined value of less than one of the players from Ipswich
