the way he says things and the way it's written are totally different.

Just a note for people that.

"There is a lot of negativity and I think it is uncalled for.

"The finances will not change whether you sack the manager or not."

I wonder what he actually said and why he hasnt denied making these comments

the way its writen and the way he says it is just difference.

for example when he said about the fans having to be patient with the way that watford will play.

I know what you mean on this ht. I have read interviews and then seen them and interpreted it totally different loads of times. I tend not to believe what I read, as the saying goes. However I don't think it fits for Hill, he has been saying most of it. I just hope it ends soon and we can get on with it. It was a minority who had a go at them, it happens, he has now got us singing his name at Oakwell, no need to keep mentioning the fans negatively. There are some massive over reactions to some things he says though. Never known a managers words be analysed so much.

Personally I think he's a down to earth northerner, though from wrong side of pennines, he says it how he sees it, someone has a pop at him and his team he bites back, is there really owt wrong with that?
If someone slagged you or your family off you'll defend them yeah?
I like his down to earth attitude and **** it it's my way, it's his job end of the day.
At least he don't sugar coat it

I dont bthink he is a down to earth man at all, he is a self centred bugger and everything has to revolve around him. That is OK with some but not with others.
I thought Robins was down to earth, but I dont think he was a great manager, I think Wilson is very down to earth and very aware of what is expected of a manager of a football club,
Each manager has his own way and none are universally liked.

You keep reiterating the same point over and over. Whatever was said or wasnt said it hardly makes him the devil incarnate. Let it go and move on.

HT, this makes sense of so much. Clearly this is why we have misunderstood you, too!

Welcome into the fold, old chap. And we know you didn't mean all those posts the way they came across!

I think he does say a few things with a smile on his face which clearly doesn't come across in the written form

Wilson wasn't liked at 1st player or manager
I just think that hill defends his players and system cos it's his way, he ain't going to get the sack backing down, we may not not like what he does/say but he's the gaffa I respect him for sticking to his principles even if we think they're wrong.
    Btw I only seen morcambe n Leicester n it's chalk n cheese

What's wrong with those comments anyway? Many people agree about the early season negativity being OTT, and the second part is a fact we're all aware of.
