KEITH HILL reckons Luke Steele is pushing for an England call-up.
The Barnsley keeper showed he could follow in the footsteps of Derby's Frank Fielding and Ipswich loanee David Stockdale.

Steele set the tone in the 26th minute by keeping out Matty Fryatt's penalty following Robbie Brady's tumble from Jimmy McNulty's challenge.

And Tykes boss Hill said: "If he carries on like this, why shouldn't he come into the England reckoning?

"He made a world-class penalty save alongside three more stops that were just brilliant."

Craig Davies' 48th-minute goal and Andy Gray's second-half effort halted Hull's nine-game unbeaten run.

Fryatt pulled one back with 11 minutes left.

Tigers boss Nigel Pearson said: "Their keeper was inspired and made some stunning saves.

"That is why I am not going to get despondent."
