Weird grammar aside, can a club like ours afford to bring in a player that the manager doesn't think is capable of getting in the first team?

 

Keith must be viewing the long term - a relatively small investment now may save having to buy established quality later. Or summat.

It must be a gamble worth taking, given how skint we is.

 

Think he refers to the fact he’s played around 14 games in 2 years since leaving Macclesfield.

Nowhere near ready for playing a first team game with that much level of match fitness.

 

Yes. Its about planning. at the mo with the high standard we have in there players like rooney will learn and one day maybe this season maybe next he'll become a first teamer.
Golbourne, wasnt woth choice when he came. Now i cant see us playing with out him.

Its one of the pluses for u21 league. a lot of clubs are doing it. Wednesday over the last 12 month have been scouting sunday league teams for 18/19/20 year olds for this u21 squad.

Weird signing for me and l wish he would have spent his time and effort elsewhere, preferably on a player that is ready for the first team. We already have a gamble called Mido at the club. We are not good enough to wait around for players, were short up front l wish he would have addressed that.
