VVanker. I've not even read it, but even if he's saying: "I hurt Rochdurl and loved my tarm at Barnsleh," he's still a vvanker. The vvanker.
It's a three page thread on their forum, following a link to his most recent two minute audioboom of him blaming the fans for the negative atmosphere affecting his players etc etc etc.
He's saying the fans being negative are affecting his players. Its typical Keef ******** to be honest, the kind of ballax we got used to hearing from him when he was here.
No, but it's funny. One of the Daleys has it bang on though. He can get away with it there. They're so small and so few in numbers, and their media are scared to ask him proper questions. That's what he couldn't cope with here. A fanbase four, five times the size, and media galore not afraid to question his ********. He thrives on it when winning games, but in adversity he unravels. It'll be the main thing that stops him becoming a decent manager in the big leagues.
He's spot on with what he says... expectation if believed, is totally pointless, happens at oakwell and on here all the time
It's the fact he blamed the fans at Rochdale for his side playing like arseholes that is the issue. The crowd go with the flow. Every home crowd is supportive, behind the team pre kick off. Play like arseholes, crowd become agitated, it's normal. Play well, crowd get behind it and so on and so on. To pass off a defeat as a manager, to lay it at the feet of the paying supporters, well, that's ******* daft. Fans don't pick the team, don't train em, don't set out the system or tactics, don't make the subs... It's the act of a manager under pressure. And a lovely person. Can you imagine Danny doing it? We lose on Saturday and he blames the negative atmosphere for his sides display? No. Because he's not a lovely person.
The man is a complete tool. Never learns from past mistakes. Nothing wound me up more than when he blamed the fans when we lost and he's still doing it. Yet when the team wins that's all down to him. Proper arsehole he is. So glad we got shut of him
Or Rochdale are playing off contenders, lose a couple and the fans get on the players back? Maybe that's frustrating. It frustrates me when fans get on our player's back when we're knocking the ball around well biding our time. Certainly makes the players edgy.
We all know it doesn't help the players getting on their backs but at the end of the day the manager brings in the players, picks the team and the tactics and takes the credit when it all goes well, so it's a bad response to blame the fans when they lose. Not once did Hill ever say that a victory was down to the great support that the team were given so he can't use it as an excuse at the other end of the scale when things go wrong
Nowt he said ever offended me cos I've never done anything he's complained about. If I was a Rochdale fan I'd be pretty happy with how things are going.
Well it offended me when he blamed me and others like me for a defeat that he caused by picking **** players in bad formations when all I had done was travel a lot of miles, for hours on end, at great expense to support the team, as I had done for 40 years before that pr**k even arrived at the club!
