I think he is very fortunate that Barnsley fans and management are far less fickle and more supportive than he gives them credit for, aside from a couple of empty cans on a message board. If he was the manager of 95% of other teams in the league there would be genuine concerted calls for his head after a run like this, but there's been nothing of the sort from Barnsley fans and no pressure or "votes of confidence" from the board, to their credit. There hasn't been so much as a song from the terraces; lucky for him he's not somewhere like Leeds, Huddersfield of Blackburn. If Keith had been right about this clubs appetite for changing manager he'd have been gone by now. Fortunately, a bit like every time he writes down a full back's name on a team sheet, he got it very wrong.
We will save it till the summer until someone changes their mind about what they wanted. In general though, you are right. Perhaps teh message has got through or the average TARN fan is just to apathetic at the minute to get fired up enought to shout for his head?
For the first time in my life I'm too apathetic to even make the drive from Manchester. And it's free to get in till the end of the season.
6 hours, luxury I tell thi. When your gurt comes downstairs at half 4 in the morning to find you pleading with him to nod off cos you've not slept for 2 days then tha can talk. Some decent freebie porn on movies4men though at that time.
Wow Summat about Barnsley fans I can actually relate to. Every other post I've ever read on the subject pretty much has us down as a bunch of cnuts.
Definitely, particularly about how difficult it's gonna be keeping us up year on year while selling our players for nowt.
