If a boxer goes into a ring saying im going to do well to just walk out of this ring alive what the **** do you think is going to happen to him! Hes going to get battered from pillar to post.

We need to go out with the mentality that we can and will win every game - not this were a small fish in a massive pond attitude!

FFS Hill & Rowing - get a grip and change the mentality and message.

Yeah, but by saying 'there's so much to look forward to', where has he said we should be happy staying up?

 

And he mentioned bristol celebrating like they had been promoted.

Well ill think you will find that was because they managed to escape the drop when they could have gone down. They werent celebrating the season as a whole keith! Cant understand what he cant work out about that!! He mentioned after the brizzle game that it confused him.

 

In god knows how many interviews recently.

Its all we are hearing been banged on the oakwell drums of late - in such that they think if they keep banging em we will eventually believe em.

 

I don't see it like that. Maybe I'm blinkered but it just doesn't come across to me like that.

He's said since Hull that while staying up and breaking even was his initial target (tick - job done), and he does see it as a big achievement considering other team's budget (fair enough), he's not been happy with it and doesn't see staying up as a success 'cos he wants more. I think that's all he's saying there.

Now if he said he was happy and that's all we're ever gonna get, fair enough. Be pissed off. But I dunt get what he's said wrong in that interview. Genuinely.

 

hes harped on all season about how we are punching above our weight,that we cant compete etc etc,,,he was getting the excuses in incase we got relegated,then it wouldnt look like it was his fault,,
i have never heard anyone as negative as hill,ever.....if he's the same in the dressing room its no wonder we're c rap,

 

I see a lot more negative people on this bbs just about every day...

 

It seems a very positive interview to me.

 

Yep I can't wait to see a top 6 challenging side and a team and manager who can 'hurt' us ,and we have a chance of finishing 4th from bottom, what the f.@ck have we got to be pessimistic about......its party time, all together now...

its hard not to be tomi,given the tripe we've seen since jan,,but hill was like it when we were winning.

 

I wasnt saying the interview wasnt positive - its him saying he doesnt want to hear pessimism when its all hes been on about. Cant be arsed listing all the quotes again.

I want to hear him being positive and biggin us up! Just like he did when he first came here.

We want the old keith hill back.
