Reds Manager Keith Hill gave his thoughts to the press after his side dominated Birmingham but somehow found themselves on the wrong end of the result. "We have to take it. It's a measure of the task that we've got. We looks as though we were controlling a football match but shoot ourselves in the foot. "You've got to take it on the chin. "The first one is a really good cross. I'm not going to blame anyone. "For the second one the players took it upon themselves to change who is marking who. "I'm disappointed in the second goal in particular. I am responsible for making any changes, not the players. "Today he's (Craig Davies) missed it but that's just how vulnerable players can be. "I can understand the reaction but I've got to manage David Perkins. He's been injured and he's not up to his usual energy levels. "If we don't stick together, we'll be relegated." "I don't consider for one minute that we took Perks off and we lost the game because of that. Would they prefer me to have risked him and risked him not being available for Saturday? I feel I've made the right decision.
"The first one is a really good cross. I'm not going to blame anyone. Except greening who DELIBERATELY cheated and gave a freekick away? Except Perkins who DELIBERATELY let the ball go out? Except YOU who trains the players every day and practices set pieces? Blame yourself for once keith, it is YOUR side and YOU ARE THE FECKING MANAGER (until tomorrow morning.
Listening to his interview now, don't think he's ever sounded so downbeat. Says he had to take Perkins off as he was at risk of missing a few games if not.
Yes Hill I would have liked to risk perkins cos we should have won this game! Blackburn A draw or at least avoiding a trouncing would be a good game!
Mental if you'd have preferred him to leave Perkins on and risk the injury flaring again for the sake of 3 pts.
