....the board are going to look idiots leaving this guy in charge with Jan window coming up... Let's wait and see!!!
Not a chance, their responsibility is to put the clubs interest first not any personal loyalty to a manager. The results speak for themselves, it just hasn't worked, look at this.... ...who we've failed to beat at HOME - Wednesday (couldn't buy a win), Birmingham (turmoil), a point from Peterborough and Ipswich at home (adrift before macca took over) - Burnley a point (struggling at the time), Huddersfield (free fall), Forest (battered). We can't really be suprised we're heading down can we??
I believe he is genuinely not well enough to attend - I think the fundamental problem is over the last 18 months he hasnt been involved much and the club is really just drifting aimlessley especially this season - and I cant see it changing without a change of owner to someone with the health and Enthusiasm Cryne had when he took us out of Admin
That's the problem no one to make decisions,no contrasting views to be debated no fans/punters views considered no clear idea where club should be, a proper management structure with the clubs interests both financially and community based. I love what Patrick did for our club in the darkest days of our existence and will be forever grate full and can understand his need to discontinue the current link as regards ownership but IMO circumstances and mistakes have left him in the Position of being an accidental dictator. If the club is to progress with the current ownership i feel he needs to build if not a board around him then most definitely a competent management team. In all departments
