For those who may have missed it, here are the key bits.. . . . "We've taken stock, there's no question about that, you know, we've done a lot of evaluation. We've used all the Pro-Zone stats to help see where we are, in the passing and possession charts, just making sure we are doing the right things that hopefully, will develop the football team, develop the football club and give us more opportunity to be successful. So yeah, we've had a look at, and assessed the situation, and we're relatively pleased at this point.. the only thing we're not pleased about is the points haul we've had for the 16 games. But you know, it does keep us on track, for our survival optimism. I've had a relatively busy weekend. I went watching Bradford against Rochdale in the FA Cup. Just to take that game in. More a social than scouting opportunity. But on that yeah, we are very close to the loan window expiring, so there might be an opportunity, to do a bit of business in that market. There's a few irons in the fire but nothing that I can give you. I do feel as though we do need at least, two recruits, to just see us through this hectic schedule. Suspensions, injuries obviously, to take us through this next phase we need at least two new signings, then see where we are in January. We are in touch with Warren Joyce at Old Trafford and he gives us advice if there's any of his players he thinks would be available. We have Danny who's doing really well, but at this moment its like I say, nothing is sorted just yet. I hope its a great experience, an education for Jacob, but I hope its not a frustrating time considering not playing. I hope this gives him the optimism and belief to be the player everybody expects. But not only that like, its an insight to the players in that squad and what they've done to get there. It could happen for Luke. But like Jacob, like all our boys, they gotta really work hard, keep developing, every days a learning day and do that and they'll get their opportunity. Its positive news they're back on the training pitch, but its highly unlikely they'll be back this weekend. Gotta bare into consideration the amount of time they've been out, and slowly re-introduce em back into it, cos we dont want no re-occurences of their injuries, or any possible lack of form through not being fit. Doncaster, its just another game for us, but the rewards are for our supporters, and I hope we can reward em for the great support they've shown us. There are many ways of recruiting, obviously they, with the new errr, recruitment-team, have gone the route of experience and pedigree, and it doesnt always work. Hope there isnt financial fall-out for all this investment they're doing. Yeah, any extra support is needed. I think there's been some great performances from us down at Oakwell this season. And majority of our supporters have been magnificent. We appreciate it. Its encouraging for us all and we just hope we repay them like they need to be.." HRAWA!
Great interview and really positive stuff. Can't wait for the game on Saturday it seems like ages since our last match! Wonder if he will play Addison to combat Parkin?
