BARNSLEY boss Andy Ritchie will be handed a massive boost tonight with the return to action of midfielder Richard Kell.

Richard has not kicked a ball in anger for his new club after signing in the summer with a broken leg but will make his comeback in tonight's clash with Sheffield United.

The former Scnuthorpe United midfielder, who fractured his leg playing for The Iron against Bristol Rovers back in April, will get 45 minutes for the Reds second string.

Tonight's match kicks off at 7.00pm.

Paul Reid is expected to play 45 mins.

BARNSLEY skipper Paul Reid will complete his comeback from a hamstring injury by getting 45 minutes in the reserves at Oakwell tonight.

Paul limped out of the Blackpool match last month and has been sidelined for the last six first team games but will line up with the second string against Sheffield United this evening.

Nicky Wroe, Nathan Jarman, Robbie Williams and Antony Kay are all set to be involved in the second string clash with the Blades.

Tonight's match kicks off at 7.00pm.
