Did he play today? Didn't see him.

You may knock Perkins but he's always available and looking for the ball. Etuhu may as well have not been on the pitch.

He was the best of the DM we had on the pitch. We need to play him with mellis ans mccourt in front of him. Get at em.

Offered absolutely nothing going forward. He's capable to but needs to get into a position to be able to receive a pass. I didn't see him carry the ball forward once today, last season he often picked it up and used his pace and power to take us forward.

He was anonymous today. Exposed for a lack of creativity. And he never seems to make forward runs even when he is the best placed midfielder to do so.

If you add to this the fact that he is rarely looking for the ball when we have it, then his role in the team does boil down to annoying the other team.

But if they spin around quickly like Watford did, his worth is much restricted.

Perkins is available but he lacks control vision and skill - no point giving it to someone who can do nowt with it.

I think the likes of Perkins and Etuhu will always look worse if they've no creator/baller ahead of them to offload to.

Which again, brings us back to Flitcroft...

I wondered why one of the two wasn't taken off to keep Mellis and McCourt together. At Leary we might have given them more to worry about.

It wasn't like keeping the toilers on made a difference...

Early on in the game they closed us down very quickly and gave us some of our own medicine from last season.

It wasn't just Etuhu that didn't turn up today. They we're all bad. Even those that are saying Scotland and COG can come out with any dignity today are wrong. From back to front we we're awful. You can put me on that field today and I'd run up and down all day and try to get in their faces but does that mean I'd had a good game? Might mean I tried but you need to be more than a trier in this league. We lacked everything today from shear determination to a bit of quality. Gave in and that's what I can't stand for in a team.

Aye, Perkins was looking for the ball when he took a horrific first touch from that freekick and let the Watford lad run the full length of the pitch to make it 5-1.

I cant understand this, O`Grady played like he has done all season, he is probably the most consistent player we have had so far. Also though all 3 subs played well when they came on.

I questioned his form in the previous 2 games.

He scored an og at Forest, and was easily beaten for the goal at Bournemouth.

Yes, that was terrible. If he hadn't done that we'd have kept it to four.

It was a rare mistake from someone who gives his all.

He was similarly switched of in the lead up to Bournemouth's goal.
