    A true great - probably Scotland's greatest and one of Britain's finest.

    Sadly a little before my time but loved listening to his wisdom on boxing. A true gentleman and a beautiful human being.

    Edinburgh recently unveiled a statue to him at the top of Leith Walk. If you're ever in the town then it's worth a wee swatch.

    Ahh this is very sad news. RIP.

    The word legend is bandied around all too often these days. But it unquestionably applies in this case.

    Buchanan lost his title to Roberto Duran... but only after Duran had punched him in the balls.
