Just reading at http://www.qualterhall.co.uk/story.php?id=17 and it's for Kendal, Belize (South America). How on earth are they going to move it from Haigh to presumably the docks? Unless they're going to break it back down into smaller parts, I can't imagine any vehicle big enough to transport it. It also looks too big to go under any motorway bridges and probably too heavy to go over any (325 tonnes). Can only assume, they're going to break it back down to smaller pieces.
I asked about this a while ago and nobody knew. I presume that it's a test build and it will be broken down for shipping. No way they could transport built
Says, due for delivery August 2011 - Running a little behind then. It's going here apparently - Old one got washed away. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tK5GiklckMg
I wondered what it was!! Thought it might be some art installation from the Sculpture park - LOL!!! It must just be a prototype, it say the actual bridge is going to be 90 metres long. Can't imagine them putting together the whole thing, breaking it up, and shipping it.
