and Ray McHale , roy ironside had a stinker v barrow away (once) let the whole town down , never came back from it
To be fair, a poor Nicky Eaden display would still be much better than a Tom Kennedy MOTM performance. Different quality, both offensively and defensively. And that's not a dig at TK. That's just me showing my love for the most underrated BFC laiker in my lifetime. But I do get your point. And at times like this I think the manager ought to be looking at taking said player out of the spotlight for a while. Continually selecting them rarely proves to be a good idea. Look at Wisey last season. Let's rest TK, and give Bobby a run in defence. Our best defender. (swim, you little fishies)
To be fair he did pull him out but had to reinstate him for a late injury didn`t he, was that at Leicester?
Have you read all the reports from people that went Mario ? Some say Kennedy was rubbish, but that will not suit some others eh ?
True. I think he'll loan someone during the break. If not, perhaps Nyatanga could play there? Or maybe we'll go 3-5-2 again? Boro do play 3 in the middle of the park, so could be the plan.
I did read them mate and while I'm not saying this is the case today there are some on here who won't give him any credit no matter what. I thought he deserved to be dropped after the Watford game but aside from that game he's been no worse than any of our other defenders IMO. I genuinely think he is just a scapegoat for some in the same way Scott was last season. He's has some good games, some bad games and a shocker or two but so have all our players. He's certainly not as bad as some make him out to be.
this could go on forever , but .......................... you said you would not comments on games you did not attend , thus I will keep on biting , bit like norman used to do , did you go today ?????? answer nope.
I thought I got it at first, you were listing players to whom the fans have given some stick, but then you mentioned Moses who I can't remember getting any at all. If Liddell got any it was extremely limited and over a very short period. Eaden got some, but only by real mongs, the majority could see what an asset he was. I also thought you were doing it in reverse chronological order, but then Keith Brown jumped from the 70s to the 90s. Either that or you remember a different Nicky Eaden from some time in the 60s. If that is the point of your post then I tend to agree, but you've used some odd examples.
Did you go , nope, just how many games do YOU attend at Oakwell, You know I dont and I have said it over and over again, but you very rarely attend and keep having a pop at others!!
Thing is if I do not go I do not make ill judged comments about the performance This season home away I will attend @ 17-20 , does that make me a lovely person
