Just been listening to him singing "The Gambler" while doing my daily excercise (it's too boring without music) and it brought to mind our present plight. Our manager could have been sitting at the table himself, the only difference being that he gambles with other people's money. The words go "you got to know when to hold and know when to fold" well our punter should have folded long ago as he's playing with a pair of deuces against a royal flush. Some may say that this means he is just a great bluffer, which of course would be true as we already know, but at the end he will be bankrupt (should I say the club will be bankrupt) and playing in a lower league. Just thought I'd share these thoughts. Of course I fully expect some abuse for this from the yes crowd, the let's keep on the downward spiral crowd, but that's to be expected because if they can't see the wood for the trees then there is little hope for them too. Although I do appreciate that there should be a strong opposition for a healthy environment, something similar to the strong, united Labour Party in the Commons. (My sick humour, sorry).
Coincidentally I was just listening to my Glam Rock playlist and thought of Lee and Tommy when Sweet belted out "we just haven't got a clue what to do"
I was listening to Gilbert O'Sullivan this morning..... "A loan again, naturally." Obvious isn't it. I'm off.
