Do we still need Isgrove? There's a breed of these little young scurriers that come from Premier League ranks, who have their own plusses and foibles. Wannabee Hammills. Who can sometimes prove more useful in a game than the man himself. I think Kent looked up to Isgrove standard today. Would prefer us to sign Isgrove though.
Kents defensive side was good and when he ran at them looked very dangerous. Great performance and good addition I'd have no issues if he plays 75% of the season.
I think Kent will offer us more in terms of out and out attacking threat but I still like how Isgrove works hard for his fullback.
Imagine having Isgrove too. We'll need players to come off the bench either to keep pressing the opposition, or to run at tiring defences. We need at least 4 wingers. Hammill, Kent, Isgrove and another. I think 2 wingers and a left back minimum required.
Doubt we'll get another winger other than Isgrove, we have Lee and Templeton and Yiadom can both play there so i doubt Hecky will be looking for two, competition for White is essential
Liked Kent going forward today but still thought he looked too weak at times. Think isgrove offers a lot more defensively and gets stuck in more. Having both would be exciting Sent from my Kestrel using Tapatalk
