Seems to tire in second half. Hammill poor when he came on though to be frank.

Though Watkins had another one of his nondescript games on the other side.

Kent is as frustrating as a player can get.

    Hammill just did the same.

Thought Yiadom was excellent. The whole back four, given their pedigree, do a wonderful job.

Agree. Ironically, the one talked as being the best often looks the weakest and that isn't necessarily at criticism.

Kent seems to go awol in second half of games and has a habit of giving the ball away in daft areas.

Hammill wasn't great but Kent was awful every time he gets the ball I just expect him to lose it now. Yidom mom for me

Kent does things right and wrong in equal measure.

He does things that only a top class player could do when he's changing direction.

    The rest needs to follow.

Thought going forward we weren't up to much all game.. Armstrong looked the only threat, and he weren't great. Wouldn't have started SSW with his bandage, would been Bradshaw and Armstrong for me..
A point away is ok, but we would have lost today if Burton could finish

Kent needs to up his game because he hardly ever comes close to being our MOTM. He played really well last Saturday but all too often seems like a passenger. For the amount of starts and game time he gets he needs to start contributing with goals and assists. For an attacking player he's hardly ever involved in our goals.

I'd give him more time if he was from our accademy.... but were developing a player who isn't cutting it in this league for me and isn't our player. And that clause were he has to play so many games is ridiculous

He's 19 years old, has never played at this level before and already he can't cut it in this league, if so lets have a go at everyone who's under performed at times this season then. We'll start with Davies, then Bree, Jackson, MacDonald etc... they're all going to have good and bad games because they're championship players

I'd just like to see some end product with him very frustrating at times.

Wow. He's 19 and makes mistakes but is a crafty little beggar. FFS.

If he was 19 and complete out and out doggo would your excuse be his age and his club?

He needs to be assessed on what he does for us. Now. Not what he might do when he's older than 19 and does play for Barcelona.

Yeah sometimes he does lack end product, but so do other players, Winnall and Hammill to name a few, but that doesn't mean he isn't cutting it in this league does it? Both Kent and Hecky have said that he needs to work on his end product, and judging by what I've read and heard today and what other people have said, it wasn't exactly the best environment for him to flourish

I don't think he has provided one assist all season alot of time his runs end up in losing possession I didn't think he was too bad 1st half today made some decent runs tbh and was involved in our best moves. Second half was pretty poor though

Scowen, Hammill and Winnall haven't assisted either this season, stats don't mean everything, look at Isgrove last season he went months without a goal and I doubt he had many assists either but yet he was a key part of the side, Kent may not be that integral for we play but he is a very decent player and needs to be given time to settle and work on his game.

Winnall and Hammill both score and set up goals though. If he lacked end product only "sometimes" like you say that would be fine. But he lacks it a large majority of the time.

    Good post.

Though there may be an argument for suggesting that the three you've highlighted might not be good enough for this league.

I haven't been impressed with Kent this season with what I've seen if I'm honest. Bristol he had a good game but on what I've seen over the course of the season I'm not very struck some think he is a world beater sadly I don't just my opinion and this he is only 19 is not a excuse because at end of season he will be back at Liverpool and we won't see him for dust.
