    It's a shame it's on that late.

When you're up at 7 for work it's late.

Yeah but if you got up reallyyyy early for work to watch it then it's early.

It's like the classic rule that you can't feed gizmo after midnight. When can you feed him then? It's always after midnight

The Sky TV guide lists film 'Pendulum' at 22.05 on Talking Pictures TV (Sky channel 328).

Me and Mrs Tonjy watched KES for probably the third time in kibbutz einat in Israel in 1984. I can assure you all that we were the only people in the cinema that knew what the hell was going on!!

And just to add to the confusion, if you Google the channel guide the Google listings show Kes, but if you go into the website it shows Pendulum.

It's a matter of wait and see it seems

In the words of the late, great Rik Mayall* "Have we got a video?"

*And IIRC all the other main cast of The Young Ones in that episode.

We watched Greg Davies' documentary about the book "A Kestrel for a Knave" the other day (on Youtube). Apparently it's the book that got him into literature at school and he used it when he was a teacher to get the kids engaged.
I didn't know that Barry Hines played for Barnsley boys and had trials with 1st division clubs including Man U. He never left the area (apart from a few years in Sheffield with his 2nd wife and Loughbrough Uni) and ended his days in Hoyland Common. Proper local legend.

    That's a brilliant documentary.
I was a bit dubious before I watched it, thinking it would be the usual condescending 'Baaarrrnsley' type of thing but he did a great job presenting it.

The amazing thing for me was that the Kestrel inspiration was from Barry Hines brother who raised a kestrel as a kid and had never flown a kestrel since until the programme
