    for bad reception, at times looked too good for us at that time, then some times (more often than not!) looked like a pub player

    He deserves a very good reception...

    Did an excellent job for under difficult circumstances - he looked like our best player on the pitch on many an occasion.

    Of course, even that didn't prevent the abuse he got...

    when your playing with players at a lower level you do not show your true potential,betsy saved us from division 2 as it is now!

    I allus thought he was a class act - full-backs **** themselves when he came down that wing. Problem was the rest of the team was stood on the half-way line looking disinterested. I really think he carried us at times that season...

    Deserves far more credit than he actually gets...

    dint score enough goals for us, but more than adequate for the lower division, B. City may not retain him for the higher level
