Not seen him for a while tbh so cant comment of late, but from a couple of years ago I think he's exactly the type of player we need. Him, and a nippy striker who knows where the net is alongside him. Still don't think he's all that old either, 27ish? I wouldn't want him. Don't think he would improve us much. Might give us an aerial threat from crosses, but we don't seem to play with wingers anymore so not much point. No pace either.
Ah, well when you put it like that he sounds a bit **** now. Tbh i'm only going on his performances against us. Not saying he's been great but definitely been a presence (or a thug, like LDRed sez, altho u don't mind the thugs as much if they play for your team lol). I'm surprised at his goal ratio though, thats ***** for a big strong lad like him. So rather than Kyle, someone in his mould then would be more sensible. But I do think we need a big lad. Doesn't necessarily have to score loads, just be a proper target man that doesn't mind getting hurt. A 10 goal a season man would be good enough for me.

No better than what we have all ready- we need quality not quantity never really impressed me eith against us for his numerous clubs or in televised games that I have seen him in either. wouldn't be very impressed if we got him at all.
