Exactly the type of player I would love to see at Oakwell and not majorly unrealistic.

If they were paying a 3rd choice keeper £8K per week - We couldn't afford their 1st choice striker.

contract talks have broken down because....?

Presumably he wants more than West Brom have offered.

In which case I don't see us being able to afford him.

I disagree. I bet he's on a million a year in wages and has personal aspirations of playing in the Premiership. I don't think we could service either of those demands next season.

Too old, wages too high, personal ambition to still play in Premiership.

I understand that Kev wants a 2 year deal, whereas Jeremy P£ac£ (our esteemed chairman) is offering a year with another year's option in the club's favour.

Kev has recently moved into a new home in Staffordshire, and is completely settled in the area with his family. There is no way he will leave the area. IF he was to leave us, he'd go somewhere like Coventry, Stoke or the Dingles.

As far as I'm aware Kev is happy to stay at Albion, and Mowbray is desperate to keep him. It all depends on the negotiations. These things take time but I'm confident Super Kev will stay.
