Does anyone know the latest on k phillips ,as he signed for anyone yet ,also whats the latest on d moore it was reported he was signing for us mon or tues if the rumours are as they are we will probably sign nayatanga way davey is going on keeping his cards close to his chest, has davaney gone as repoted in yorks post, some on here think this is a bad move my view is good money coming for a player who only figured in 20 odd games can anyone recall last player we got any money for ,i seem to think it was Hignet i may be wrong at least ten years ago so surely 150k for davaney who we signed on a free would be good money, selling players is not most common these days since Bosman fiasco.

I think we actually paid a fee for devaney...anyway

Devaney was too hot and cold.

On his day, he is outstanding and defenders can't live with him. Other days he hides out of the game like a schoolgirl and offered no first line of defence to the actual defence and left full backs too exposed. Too inconsistent.

I would have been happy for him to stay, as I do think he offered something, but only if we could have someone to replace him if in one match he was having is off day.

However, if he does go, he played a major part in us beating Liverpool and Chelsea as he supplied both crosses and that won't be forgotten.

So basically, not too downhearted if replacements prove good enough, on the other hand, could be a massive mistake if replacements don't turn out good enough.

Way to sit on a fence eh!

I went for a drink with windass in the east stand after we played bradford city i was talkin with him about davaney who we had signed recently .his take on him was he was a lazy Barsteward ,i thought at that time he was being harsh but on reflection now i see where hes coming from a great crosser of the ball can showboat a bit as a good eye for goal but as a team player can go into hiding when the going gets tough

    Davaney go into hiding?

Under Davey he has lost his place in the team twice. There was no throwing teddy out, he battle his way back into the team.
Top player and pro if we let him go it must be to reduce wage bill for the players yet to arrive.

To me that is why he's playing in the Championship. If he did it game in, game out he'd be in the Premier
