Key problem (amongst others) we have had for a while now

No competition for places:

The 16 players virtually pick themselves. Despite Davey at one time having a massive squad to choose from, for various reasons he has limited himself to picking the same 16 players for every match. I dont think the players have any fears they wont be playing every week including at Wembley (bar those cup tied)

GK) Steele (unnapposed as Letheren not even considered for bench)

DEF) Souza, Foster, Nyatanga, Van Homoet, Kozluk (basically 5 into 4 and one on bench and at Wembley 4 guaranteed a starting place)

MID) Hassell, Howard, JCR, Devaney, Leon (Hassell more than likely to play defensive midfield and Skipper guaranteed to play in front of him. Then 2 of the 3 remaining will play and one will be on bench)

FWD) Macken, Odejayi, Ferenczi, Nardiello, (2 out of 4 picked and others on bench. Macken cup tied so itll be 2 from other 3 at Wembley)

SUBS) So 2 from above and Togwell, Coulson + maybe a youngster for Wembley. Doubt anyone else will get a look in.

Problem is players arent 100% due to no competition, are not concerned about losing their place as well there is noone to take it and opposition managers can work us out before we start as they can more or less predict who will be playing for us.

so we have 4 defenders all guaranteed a place in starting line up unless Togwell gets a run (dount it)
What worries me is if we get any injuries who do we bring in?
