    then regional options.

    you should be able to change their.

    may require a reboot though

    Assuming your on Windows XP

    Start
    Control Panel
    date,time language and regional options
    Regional & Language Options

    in the box that pops up

    click on languages tab
    click on details under text services and input languages
    under installed services, ensure that english keyboard uk in set as default or installed,
    remove US

    done
    (again may need reboot to be efftective)
