No need to fake it, nailed on someone in class will get it. Then everybody out! On to day 8 now of little un being at home. Throughout all the lockdowns she's been a star and an angel. She's never had the terrible 2's and is always a pleasure to be around.

    This week however.................

Not helped by the fact the home schooling stuff she's got we'd done in 1st lockdown after sourcing it ourselves.

Sons missed another 10 days of year 9 thanks to this bullsht. Luckily it’s not year 10, but loads from that year have had to. Not great for kids who are somewhat motivated to work like my son, a disaster for those who really need to be in a classroom to learn. Even so I’ve seen a change in his personality- he’s become listless this last week, getting worried for his mental well being now.

The effect of the original lockdowns had on my then 7-year-old was scary. She went from being really hard-working, polite and pleasant kid, to doing a total 180 by the end of the lockdown. She stopped sleeping, and would even wet and poo herself. We got absolutely no help or support from the school during it all(despite literally begging them), and had no chance of getting her in to see a doctor. Eventually, thanks to Dan Jarvis' help, we got the school to agree to let her go to school a couple of times per week to start with, then full time towards the end and she totally changed again(back to her old self).

The younger generation are going to be paying for this pandemic with their mental health for years to come...

Think I'm unusual in that my son has avoided having to isolate. Nearly all his friends have though.

We don’t close a bubble until a positive PCR test has been confirmed. They then have to do live lessons at home so there’s not much point in tricking it anyway. Every single lesson where there is a student absent (for any reason) is ‘dual streamed’ at our school so that the absent student can follow along with the lesson at home.

Both mine have missed multiple weeks of school. I haven't isolated them though when off we've still gone out. The rules are barking mad so I just gave up on them.

Got to school this morning to find the class I was due to take had a positive case that morning - bubble at home
Afternoon school similar tale - class bubble had burst the day before
Asked to go into another class as their teacher was off as his housemate had tested positive only to get a message the teacher had tested positive so the class were sent home halfway through my lesson - absolute madness in school at the moment! Draining ....

The rules will change soon anyway as Laura Kuenssberg and the BBC will dictate a rule change which will be meekly brought in by the racist one just like she and they have since march last year.
