Looking for sponsors for an under 13's kids football team to get them a new kit for next season. Anybody any ideas of any local businesses that would be happy to help? many thanks

Your best bets are small, local businesses, or well established builders/tradesman, ideally who are vat registered. Small independent builders merchants are also a good option as it raises their profile in a 'man environment'.
I managed to get my lads teams sponsored by a large national company last year, who I work for, but by Christ, did I have to jump through hoops.
A set of 15 shirts, printed and embroidered, can be sourced for as little as £250 for basic brands like Mitre or Joma, but up to £450 for your Nike and Adidas.
Am I right in assuming you're Manchester way out?
Avoid the big companies, Tesco, Aldi etc as they politely tell you that they throw their backing behind this year's nominated charity such as MacMillan Nurses, and therefore have no available funds.
Best of luck though. Much admiration for all who support kids football.
