    .......... just stop what they are doing and stare intently at me.
    To the extent that they will turn 180 degrees to look at me.
    And then ignore others in their company no matter what's said to them.
    I'm not joking - it's actually unnerving.

    Everywhere I go it's the same.
    Nothing to do with how tall I am - I can be sat down and they still do it.

    It's very weird.

    It's the same for me.

    When a very small child is crying, and they catch sight of me, they stop crying.

    I am an ugly fcuker, so it isn't that; and it's nothing to do with any innate parenting skills, seeing as I have no children and don't ever intend for that to change.

    Yep - it's weird int it.
    Been in a few places today and the staring has happened.
    In a cafe earlier today - the kids mother kept trying to turn the kids head around - she failed.
    Then all the people sat at the kids table started looking at the kid and then looking at me.
    I just said - it's not unusual this, it happens to me all the time. They all fell about laughing
