I was at Blackpool in the promotion year when Parker was probably the best player on the field
I can remember thinking at that time - I wish he was a TARN player
He was all over the field and scored a reight goal

However, things have moved on since then - Blackpool have a better player in Hoolihan
And Barnsley have strengthend the squad greatly and beyond recognition
So is Kiegan Parker better than what we have already............. (chinny) (chinny) (chinny) ..........I would say not, because Mosquito and Kayodi are potentially better players.
And beleive me when I say Kayodi is potentially the best player at the club.

But how long can we wait for these players to start performing ???

Its sad really, that we have had to bring Parker in...........if only Mosquito and Kayodi had hit the ground running

PS..............still would have preferred the same squad that we had at the end of November (doh)

think hes got a point

in terms of raw potential...kayode really has it,he just needs to work at it...its obvious he's a young player who plays on confidence at the moment and the nobheads booing him wont help at all

I take it you are still ill then?

Odejayi- potentially the best player at the club!!!!
Get a grip on reality, he is bloody garnage and if he is so low on cofidence, why is he a footballer? Its his job to play football and score goals, or at least create chances that others can score from, he does not do that very often either.
No Parker is no better than the other non scorers we already have.

Odejayi has potential to be a great player.....
if he could kick a ball
He's quick and has all the physical attrebutes to make a good player
If he could match that with technical ability and a footballing brain who knows how good he could be.....

but then again he can't kick a ball
:D

I'll let you know....

That I haven't booed once this season.

And when talking about potential when he is 26 years old is bonkers barmy. There is no way in this world that Odejayi will end up playing in the premier league at any point, which Muller and Howard probably will. So the statement that Young fudger made was complete and utter nonsense.

Odejayi

Definitely one with LOTS of potential, quick and strong, but still not sure he's got the right mindset to make it.

As for Parker, he'll offer similar to what Coulson did against Scnuthorpe, ie making lots of runs which is what most of our strikers don't do. He'll give the midfield a lot more options imo.

I have always rated Parker but I would class him more as a wide or "in the hole" behind front two type of player. He reminds me a bit of Andy Liddell in many ways. I'm not sure whether I'm pleased about signing him or disappointed to be honest. Guess we'll just have to wait and see, if he signs that is.
As for Odejayi having the most potential at the club i'm sorry but that's laughable. Just admit it, he has been a disastrous signing. A total waste of 200k...end of.

He made his league debut May 8th 1999

So quite impressive if he did that a couple of months after his 14th Birthday

I am much more inclined to believe the 08-06-82 Date in Soccerbase
a debut just before a 17th birthday is much more plausible.

Which makes him now 25 and a half

If they all really rate him at Blackpool

Why doesn't he get in the team and why does it appear they are selling him?
