He's got a right back from M&S sat on the bench while he's playing one he got from Aldi. Makes no sense to me that.

It doesn't matter if you buy your shopping from Waitrose or Lidl, if you put an onion in your fruit salad and a melon on top of your hotdog it's going to be ****.

 

Not quite M&S, but I take your point. Bobby has become a better player since he, er, hasn't been playing. I remember he was equally as **** as everyone else against Morecambe.

Bobby has become a better player since he hasnt been playing? He won player of the year whilst playing. Won player of the decade while playing. Came fourth in a vote for the best ever barnsley player while playing. Had fans singing 'oh bobby hassell you are the love of my life' while playing and finally was nicknamed 'sir bobby' while playing.

If he's got even better since he's not been playing then I cant wait for him to pull on the red shirt again because he'll be playing for England soon.

And seriously. Do you really think Bobby is the 4th best Barnsley player of all time? Better than Nicky Eaden, Gary Fleming, Neil Thompson, Gerry Taggart, Carl Tiler, Mark Smith, Neil Redfearn, Hignett, Ward, Watson, Baker, McCarthy, Glavin, Banks, Chambers, Blanchflower...... ad infinitum. Give me a break.

Looks to me like some, including the manager (bizarrely after making him club captain), are writing off Sir Bobby after one bad game (the only opportunity he has had this season) while the rest of the players keep getting picked despite numerous **** performances. If Sir Bob isn't in the starting line up on Saturday (to either replace Jay Mc, Wiseman, Addison - seeing as he can play in all those positions) then there is something sadly wrong with the bloke picking the side. I hope to god that he gets some game time soon because I would hate for him to go out on loan and possibly leave the club. I would rather get shut of the manager and let Sir Bob have a crack.

I would too. I didn't say Bobby was a bad player, but if people think he is the answer to our problems just because he hasn't been involved so far then they need to get real. I even read earlier today that Lovre could come in and do a job... sheesh.

we had songs in past like that about players. at time they were better than sliced bread some of em r forgotten now only grats live on i don't think bobby'll be in that catergorie in 10 years time.
