Interesting to hear his views on recent managerial appointments and his targets for the season.

Just said we are ambitious when asked about a late play off push. Also said he had no sympathy with Portsmouth as they basically still have the use of players the could not and cannot afford. Nice one Keef.

Played it coy when asked if he was thinking about a play off push, just said we were ambitious, happy to be well clear of the relegation places, and looking up rather than down. Also repeated his lack of sympathy for Portsmouth due to them spending money they don't have, reiterated that as a result of their financial mismanagement they're still getting the benefit of good players they can't afford turning out for them every week.

They looked a bit taken out when he said that.

And he's bang on. Said the same when we lost to them earlier in the season.

Agreed. Don't think they quite knew how to handle Keith telling it like it is rather than holding the party line. Noticed Laws throw Mowbray a 'what do we say to that' kind of look when he said it, mind you he's probably got his eye on the main chance should they eventually be relegated and Appleton move on back to a higher division club.

Just wish one of them would have joined the dots with Huddersfield, losses and Clark getting the chop.

Keef was good value. Stopped short of saying Pompey are cheats.I
