Just throwing it out there. According to a few sources, their chairman (Barry Kilby is it?) wants to talk to him.
Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley. All available. Bet Keith wishes we'd followed that 5-0 thrashing up with another 3 wins. He'd be nailed on for one of em.

Of all the three Lancashire clubs looking for a manager I think Burnley would be the least attractive to Keef. I honestly don't know what they have that would tempt him back over the Pennines.

Moving to Burnley would be a sideways step in my opinion.

Take away any parachute payments they have left and I'd say that it would be a backwards step. And Keef hates parachute payments.

He's right it is. Nothing wrong with earning wealth through organic growth but that is a very different kind of wealth in the world of football. Unearned wealth is what Keef dislikes.

14/1 yesterday with Skybet. Now down to 5/1 third favourite. Still showing 14/1 with Stan James on oddschecker, but site wont take the bet so is prob not up to date

I was just throwing it out there. But having read the Burnley forums, they seem very keen, and so do their local media apparently.
And whilst I love Keith, I'm not able to pretend he'd not be interested.
    He'b be off IMO.

Yeah I know mate, just clicked on the Blackburn article on the same page.

I don't know whether it would matter to Hill if approached, but he's clearly nowhere near their first choice. Some managers would want to be a club's first choice - like he was for us.

This is certainly giving that Mark Murray character a run for his money! Erm.... Except he gets paid for it, doh!

    He wasn't our first choice.

We approached Leyton Orient for their manager but were turned down. We then turned our attention to Keith.

We approached Keith first, but he said he was happy at Dale. We then had an approach for Slade rejected. Then Keith changed his mind.

Merlin is right, we only went to Leyton Orient after Keith turned us down the first time

Keith only came to us because he didn't get the Blades job he hoped for.

And we should all be eternally grateful that he did change his mind and that the Orient chairman turned us down. There is the exact reason why we should be very careful what we wish for because there is the alternative and the thought of it makes my blood run cold.
