It was odd in the first place signing an injured player. He might end up a defender version of Miller in not being seen much after being signed halfway through the season. If we go up it's a slim chance he will get a game. If we don't go up he would be relying on the guys we already have being sold or losing form or getting injured or the replacements brought in if they are sold not being as good as him.
Patience is the key. No reason to rush the lad. As for signing a player who is then injured isn't unique to Kitching. Look no further than Cauley Woodrow. There were a number of posters adamant that he was a waste of a signing. If Kitching has as successful a Barnsley career as Cauley, I for one will be more than happy with the signing.
Whilst it's a shame that he's not featured so far, there's zero reason to rush him into action when we have Sibbick, Sollbauer, Williams, Andersen, Helik and Halme all fit and available. He's in good hands with our medical team and at 21-years-old with another three-and-a-half years at the club, I'm sure he'll be fine. It is a shame though. Because he will excel in this system and his left peg would have been a great addition in that part of the defence.
Agreed mate. I bet Liam is as disappointed as anyone that he won't be playing for a while. He must be itching to get on that pitch and play for VI. However, as you say patience is the key
