Apparently the 4th official won't let him on because the number on his shirt (42) isn't the number filled in on the team sheet (44). Apparently they've put Devante Cole's number down on the team sheet. Can they print him a new shirt in the club shop?
Someone is going to be in bother for that. Simple things like that you'd think would be checked and then checked again. Glad he didn't get on as I don't like former players up against us giving them an added incentive to do well.

I was going by what they said on Sky, however the number on the Team sheet (44) is the number he's listed with on the BBC 's page for Fleetwood. So if he had 42 on his shirt they could have printed another with 44 and that would've been fine I'd imagine?
