    The season of midfielders. We sent out all the ones with an ounce of talent on loan or benched them and kept the donkey's.

    I remember going to watch an U23’s game just after the January transfer window that season & we’d got a really strong team out, there must of been about 7 or 8 of the 11 who you would class as first team & I thought it’d be a good watch but we were poor & Knasmullner was the worst of the lot. Didn’t look interested at all. It made me wonder if he even wanted to join us or if the club had pushed him out because it was a great offer for them.

    To be fair, if he's upped sticks and moved to a foreign country, only to play 3 times in an entire season, you can see why he might look disinterested 6 months later.

    We were absolutely dire that season, surely someone like Knasmullner deserved more of a chance.
