I don't believe the club were having a pop at KO as people have suggested, though I can understand why many of the fans would interpret the scoreboard revelation as detrimental. I think the club were probably genuinely pleased that he's scored a couple of goals. After all, he is still a Barnsley squad member despite being on loan so there may be some use for him in the future if he can find some form at a lower level and bring it back to Barnsley. I honestly thought that, before he left on loan, he has looked much better this season and played the supporting role quite well. He's strong and can hold the ball up but obviously just falls to pieces in front of the nets, which has probably become a psychological battle for him. Without getting into a Davey debate about his decisions, he must have seen something week in and week out to continue to play him. If he returns from Colchester a better player who can actually score then it will only underpin our efforts this season and increase the now apparent competition for places up front. Red Armymania...

How many chances is he going to get

I will be very disappointed if Colchester don't sign him permanently and he returns here.

I can understand that completely, but what if he started banging in goals regularly? Obviously that's hypothetical as I don't believe it will ever happen but it would be great for us if it did I suppose.

I think it's fair to say that permanent transfer or not, KO will be gone at the end of this season at the latest. </p>

Him, El what the f.ck is that, deffo gone, and potentially a few others.

i think the odejayi situation has been discussed and debated to the end, it's just not happend for him here and he needs t movce on and we need t get shut, he's an incredible athlete and seems a decent honest bloke and im sure we all wish him the best too..as long as he dunt score against us in future which he inevitably will i suppose

Me too. I think he needs to move on as much for him as us. He will never be good enough for this level.
