and it's deserved because he's **** I think there have been players in the past that had to take a lot of flack undeservedly but who deserved it the least? For me Kevin Betsy - top scorer from midfield and he was still getting abuse
I think Betsy was **** tbh. Did actually have some ability but didn't look interested enough to me most of the time. I personally think the player that got too much stick, unwarranted, was Rory Fallon. Did a bloody good job under Thordarsson playing as lone striker - got through a hell of a lot of unnoticed work. Were doing really well at the time too to say we were in admin. Then as soon as we started to bring other players in like Boulding it all went tits up.
he seemed to think that because he'd spent money on them that they had to play-should have stuck with the 15 we had
My thoughts exactly mate. The 15 proved they were good enough, just a shame the new guys were **** lol *wears tin hat in case Heaney "Boulding bum-boy" reads this*
James G your a complete idiot, so because you think Kayode isnt good enough or '****' as you nicely put it he deserves all the abuse he gets? he works hard for the team and is a valuable substitute to have. He IS a good football he's very quick but he's just never been good enough to score goals at this level if he was he'd be unstoppable and probably wouldn't be with us. Just leave it now the lad tries for **** sake and i will get behind any player that does that in a barnsley shirt, He will never be a first 11 player unless we have injurys but i'm happy to keep him here at least till the end of the season. Kayode, Macken, Cureton and Ward nothing wrong with those forward options in my eyes. Were you one of the selected idiots chanting Davey out vs Doncaster, Booing Moore in first few games, booing Chopra etc etc?
Kayode is a good footballer????? Sorry but that is way off the mark, he is a good athlete but not a good footballer.
Why is it OK to give players "stick"? I mean, what does it achieve? Does it make them play better? I don't doubt the right of people who pay money to express their opinions, but I'm at a loss to see the positive effects of this "stick".
RE: Why is it OK to give players "stick"? I think it's so the player knows how we feel and because they have a career most of us would love and because he earns enough money to take the stick handed out to him by the paying fans. The positive effect should be Kayode thinking to himself that he's going to do all it takes to improve and ram it down the doubters throats by coming good at last....
Nah mate the worst ever has to be Nicky Eaden. Comes through our youth system, good player, played over 300 games for us and got some horrendus stick from some supporters. Whilst if he was foreign he would have been praised and backed more.
I totally disagree Have you seen his body language? The guy has been destroyed by the ridicule and abuse he gets. People calling him a "clown" and a "******" to name just 2 recent descriptions. Saying "he can't finish", he can't hold a ball up", "he doesn't anticipate" etc etc is fine, that's critiscism, not abuse. After all that, I suppose you may be right, if you pay you are entitled to say it. But my point is, what does it achieve? If your theory were right, Kayode would be a world class player by now and Man City would be offering £35 million for him.
At what point though do you stop putting up with his ***** performances and have a go? You can't let someone get away with being **** forever. Personally i'm too silly to start with all that booing stuff. I was one of the daft ones who applauded the players off at the end after losing 2-0 at Crewe this season.
