Hill said he would like him for the rest of the season, so I think we'll try to get him. Suppose it depends whether Norwich want us to keep him.

 

Did he say that before we got Dawson or after?

 

I can't remember to be honest, but I'd be surprised if he goes into the last few months, with only three central midfielders.

 

I think he said it after the Derby game, so after Dawson was signed. Hope we keep him, he looked good in that game.

 

Are you not overlooking Doyle or is he off out on loan?

 

He did look good and I too hope we can extend to the end of season.

We should try to get him for longer. If there were a prospect of a permanent signing, that would be excellent. You never know - he was a rising star at Carrow Road, but they may well want to strengthen and might be prepared to do alow-cost deal. Lambert is good at them!

 

I get the impression he was signed because matey boy from Orient wasn't fit yet.

With Norwich pretty much safe from rello then I think he'll get a chance with them this season.

If not I'll nip down and fetch him myself.
