he's young talented midfielder and can play in attack, middle or left side! Came through ranks with likes of Michael Dawson & Andy Reid
Prem and other Championship clubs interested agree that he's quality but no point cos auction on wages will price us out, besides, he's very similar to Howard and McCann.
A reason not sign him. He played for a side who failed to get promoted so isnt good enough.
Being honest, he'll be a very good signing but can see him going to a bigger club or even a premiership club.

He didn't come through the ranks... they signed him from Stoke. Good player by all accounts, can be very lazy though too.
Too highly rated to play for us. Probably was on more at Forest than we would be prepared to offer him anyway.
http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=40567

We were interested in him... The day when we beat Forest 2-0 at home when Megson got all that abuse from their fans so I know GS likes him but I would imagine we'd be priced out like others have said.
GS likes him ? So what ? 'GS' employs a first team manager and it should be up to him who we bring in.
Both left sided and both prefer to play central midfield, some similarities, although based on what we've seen so far, Howard is a better player. next season, lets just wait and see......
RE: Both left sided McCann getting new legs this summer ?
I'll be otherwise engaged when fixtures come out - whichever of 1st 2 games is away get me a ticket cos we're going.

No probs, its Stoke away, I know a bobby, etc question is, will Howard be doing most of his pre season preparation in the Old No.7? reckon we've not seen the best of McCann yet, thee watch.
are we gonna have "Gerrim Signed" as each an every player without aclub is revealed as last summer (zzz) (zzz) (blagger) (zzz) (zzz) (blagger) (zzz) (zzz)
Scorer of a valuable goal against Ipswich. thought he did ok in the games he came on as sub, admittedly need to see more, and not convinced he can play alongside Howard for above reason, keeps Howard 'honest' though, you'd hope. If we're bringing a centre midfield player in, I'd want to see a ball winner, someone to help Togwell protect the back 4, creative players we have already.
RE: No probs, its Stoke away, I know a bobby, etc Now that the social club has lost a couple of members we may see a bit of a lift in other's regular performances.
The lad from Luton - Danish fella, used to play for Aberdeen Quality player and out of contract , ooh now whats his name?
Can't see us bringing in a central midfielder We've already got 4: Mattis, McCann, Howard and Togwell. It's the only position in the team where we have cover. Trouble is, I don't think the cover is up to much.
Hope so still quite a few new faces short of an enjoyable season. anything above 14th is a bonus imho. another season long relegation battle wont encourage me to visit the Shell garage that often...
