    Evening Gents,

Happy New Year to you all.

Seems our teams both share a common theme at present and can do with some luck.

Have to admit to keeping an eye on reid because from what I saw of him in a West Ham shirt he looked quite capable but its all gone a bit quiet recently.

Can any of you give your views on his potential.

Good luck and hope you get out of that mess you are in.

Looked good in patches last match i saw him in he was non-existent and got subbed early on.

Seems to play better when we bring him on against tired defenders

We do have female supporters that use this board also! :D

Imagine Ryan Giggs flying down the left flank.

You'll not see young Kyel doing that.

    Poor control.
    Can't pass.
Looks quick without the ball - falls over it when it's played to him.

    Basically - he's a bit ****.
He'd probably be your best player at the moment!

Tell your new boss we've got a right player called Robbie Williams in our midfield.
Egghead can give us a few million for him now - otherwise Barca & Chelski will be in for him.

    Cheers Oasis,

Yeah someone else mentioned that about him.

He only played a couple of games for us but what struck me was his crossing ability. Are there any rumours about you lot keeping him?

I saw the goals in the round up and it looked pretty poor.

I really hope you lot send Leeds down because that would make us all laugh!

Got no service against Wednesday because Nardiello wasn't passing to anyone except in a blue and white shirt, and poor Robbie Williams was out of his depth in midfield. He looks a good prospect and works hard

That's a big statement about Etherington, given that you

    have Christian Dailly.

To be fair to the lad ...

    ... he looks very green.
Got a decent left foot on him & has pace - but he's miles away from the finished article.
Sometimes looks like a lost little sheep.

He also looks like a mini version of Lauren at Arsenal.

It's not been a very good time at Oakwell either - so I bet the lad isn't exactly brimming with confidence.
It also seems he was mates with Leon Knight - who we've just sent back to Swansea ... so that might not be great for him either.

Needs some games under his belt.
Might end up being a decent player - as he's got the potential.

12 months ago, I would have agreed with you, but you only get to see the highlights.

Honestly, in the whole country you will never see someone eased off the ball more than this little tart. He wouldnt make the grade in girls football so how he made it is a mystery.
As for Dailly...he is our best player at the mo! :)

His first couple of games, he played well and scored for us. since then he as gone off the boil, but so as most of his team mates.
Playing with a confident team, he will perform, unfortunatley for us we are not playing well at the moment, so it's lack of confidence all round. If Shep can bring him here for 50 grand we would have a decent player. But Shep would be very reluctant to bid anymore than that.

Thought he was a decent prospect too.....what happened to him then?
