When I saw him initially (Plymouth or Southend I can't remember) I was impressed by his pace and the quality of his crosses. Since then he seems to have slowly lost confidence - the glaring miss against Preston probably didn't help. Last night when he came on he looked really nervous and his first touch was terrible. Then he started to play some really neat interplay to create 2 or 3 good chances towards the end. I can't help feeling he just needs more confidence and he could be a great asset to the team. Or, he could just be crap and I'm trying to read too much into it.
he needs to learn to do simple things better when he is on the wing the number of times he tries to beat 2 men instead of giving the full back the ball drives me potty, saying with his pace he is always going to be dangerous!
RE: he needs to learn to do simple things better Totally agree with Wath Red. Few times last night he beat his man, but then tried to beat the next one when the full back was in space for a one-two
