Moses Milliband with his tablet of stone! Banning (ffs) islamophobia. Will it br arachnophobia next? Cow towing to the Muslim vote by having women and men sitting at different sides of the hall. Little wonder Ms. Sturgeon of the Scotting Nazi Party is walking all over Labour in Scotland.
It's a special post which condemns proposals to stop the demonising of a religion and then uses the Nazis as a derogatory term.
What I don't understand is islamaphobia is already covered under another law. Why make it seperate? Murder is illegal, you'd never get a law made called 'murder of people called Julie' and count them seperate
It's wrapped up in their policy on being tougher on hate crimes, islamophobia is just one strand of it.
My Father, bless him, always told me not to discuss politics and religion. He said either one could create a war. Never did listen to the old man. I could not care a toss what Ed Milliband looks like, talks like, or any other media ********, as long as we get that creep Osborne and his side kicks out of power. The Tories first under Thatcher and now under her protégés have destroyed the working class and by that I include the working class who think they are middle class. I wander what they would have done when their friends the bankers crippled Europe and the UK and left Labour to get the blame. I think The media have slipped up concentrating on Milliband and he has upped his game. This election is not a beauty contest, it is about who is best for you personally. You would not elect Beckham, for the job, although most women would. We need shut of the Eton brigade.
The Tories are very good at 'divide and rule' - always have been always will be, whether it's flogging off nationalised industries so some get a few quid for having a few spare quid or selling council houses off cheaply - their policies are deliberately aimed at people to try and 'better' themselves and in the process of killing community spirit. Their taxation policy says it all really for me. Reduce direct taxation and increase indirect taxation. A reduction in direct tax (income tax) for someone on min wage or part-time hours does bugger all for them but putting indirect tax up (VAT from 17.5% to 20%) puts an additional burden on them. Don't even get me going on Student Loans or Bedroom Tax It's about time someone from the Labour party had the balls to stand up and take a more pronounced left of centre viewpoint Rant over
Agree with you. I've just been in the audience on the Victoria Derbyshire show and wanted to state that the root of these so called immigration issues is economics. But didn't get put on...
Oh yeah thats just terrible. Oh wait is it worse than this ? http://conservativehome.blogs.com/files/ge_4pg-newspaper.pdf
