Well, the board to me have a total lack of ambition!! We look at strikers who want less than 5k per week and what do we get for that? Oddjob, We are NEVER going to get anywhere with this attitude of "We are Barnsley and we wont be held to ransom by players who want more money" If we had the money we wouldnt even try to get your Ronaldos or Kakas cos we would want them to take a drop in wages Mifsud was on 8k at Coventry, so why would he take a drop in wages?? Would you look for a new company to work for and ask for less money than your on now? I think not So come on board, get some GOOD players in and pay the rate for them, I agree with you on the Ward deal, that money for a player from that low wasnt on, but Mifsud, Philips, Porter etc, is worth it PAY PEANUTS, GET A MONKEY!!!!!
Do you realise how many season tickets we have to sell to pay £10k a week wages??? It is not lack of ambition - it is not going into administration again.
