Next Tuesday at the O2 Arena.

He's 1 of the bandwagon fans who thinks they are a new band.

Stick to your Eminem CD's you lovely person

I just keep asking him if he knows anyother KoL songs other than Sex On Fire.

Mention Molly's Chambers Knocked Up etc & he looks at you has though you've **** through his letterbox

He'll probably forget all about them in 3 months.

Same thing happened with Razorlight, The Killers & Kaiser Chiefs became too commercialized

I haven't listened to the Kings of Leon since their second album - didn't like it after rather enjoying the first, then I got into different types of music.

My understanding was that they were very 'commercial' to begin with, though. Like I say I haven't been following them recently, so has it got worse?

I wouldnt say as 'commercial' as they are now before Sex on Fire was released you might have heard a KoL song on Radio 1 you certainly wouldn't have heard DearneFm playing The Bucket etc you also wouldnt have walked into a pub & heard people requesting songs by KoL. Infact if you had asked a DJ in tarn to play KoL before the release of Sex On Fire he would have looked at you like you had 2 heads

If any KoL fans say they're favourite song is Sex on Fire they only heard of em 6 months ago. New album isn't a patch on Youth and Young Manhood or Aha Shake Heartbreak.

so someone liked asong by a band and decided to go and see them? should we check when bands were formed before going to see them? whats the cut off point how early do you have to be listening to be allowed to go? is this linked to being a proper fan aswell?

The point im making is that people who like certain bands know abit of the bands background.

This kid thinks KoL have only been around since October time, as i said mention a song title to him off 1 of the other 4 albums & he looks at you blank as if your pillocking him

    That's what I was thinking

What a bar steward eh? Going to a concert when not aware of the entire back catalogue. There are some reyt gits around.

Personally I only go see artists once I've met their grandparents, visited their old schools and mastered each of their songs on the clarinet.
