    If hanging was brought back how many evil b*stards out there would think twice before

    they murdered, hurt, raped or kidnapped somebody.

    This monster got what he deserved but if he knew beforhand he would get the rope if found guilty I wonder if he'd have done it in the first place.

    Too soft by far on this country thats why its going to pot

    The death penalty is all about revenge, it isn't a deterrent. Generally people don't plan out murder working out the chances of being caught and what will happen to them.

    Sadly I don't think it would make much of a difference. It doesn't seem to in countries that have a death penalty.

    Not really. They aren't put to death straight away, they serve a very long sentence on death row before the deed is done.

    theres nothing wrong with the law as it stands.its the judicial system thas wrong and the wacky judges implementing it.life should mean life.
