That's an explanation? Not a clue.

His celebration was him holding his hands on his eyes, like glasses, as if to say, you need glasses.

It was aimed at our supporters he says.

So his issue is with the fans and not with the management. Nice to know.

I assume he thinks our supporters didn't like/rate him.

Had he said "it was aimed at the Barnsley manager" I'd have understood.

Yep. I can't remember the fans deciding to let him go. Or deciding not to play him. Strange.

Me too because I don't remember any negativity aimed towards him. Maybe the manager told him that he was being shipped out because 8000 fans had contacted him demanding he was shown the door because we all thought he was ****. That's the only explanation I can think of other than him being an absolute tit.

I remember loads on the forum slating him, saying he looks like he doesn't know how to play football. There was certainly a lot of criticism, not saying from everyone but I'd say about half of the people on here wanted shut of him.

Also he mentions Barnsley fans AND barnsley, by barnsley does he mean the club? Johnson, Cryne, Mansford etc? From what i see from his tweets, he seemed to have enjoyed his time here, sometimes tweets Winnall, and was favoriting Barnsley fans' tweets last night.

I've no problem with him either. I didn't slag him off but he wasn't great for us, if he's honest with himself he'll surely admit that? No matter how well he does for Walsall it'll not change his time with us.

No. I think we're pretty safe assuming he meant we should get ourselves to Specsavers owing to us being so blind we couldn't see what a good footballer he was. Like I said he's a bit of a tit.

I think generally he was well received and it was acknowledged he did jave sone ability but was lacking in work rate and end product.

How much was fitness related is a different question.

Id say the glasses were for the management team whom in their wisdom s
Paid up his contract and never really replaced him as he has shown this year to be a consistent player for Walsall with a number of goals and assists to his name.

Lets be right any current barnsley player who takes on a full back soon gets subbed or nevr sees the ball again.

Glasses are the last thing we need, it's eye masks that we need.
